Glo Minerals – more than make-up

Vitamin A (a.k.a. RetinA, Retinol, Tretinoin) should be used topically to help rev up the cell renewal process, brining newer skin cells to the surface of the skin and pushing the dead skin cell layer off causing exfoliation of that outermost layer. This gives the skin that youthful sheen and glow.

Vitamin B (a.k.a. B5 serum or hyaluronic acid serum) should be used topically to hydrate the skin by pulling water into the skin from below and holding it there. Many moisturizer trap water in the skin but they do little to help attract water into the skin. This is a key element in reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Vitamin C (a.k.a. vitamin C) is your antioxidant that combats free radical formation in the skin and reverses damage that UV and pollution does to your skin. This ingredient is a crucial piece to your anti-aging routine.

SPF goes without saying, but many of us don't use it properly. It is important to apply an SPF daily regardless of rain or shine. Physical blockers, such as zinc oxide and titanium dioxide should be the ingredients you seek out in your daily SPF. Active sun may require SPF 50 but for daily use 30 is sufficient. You may want to use one that is tinted as this would hide the white color zinc can sometimes leave on the skin.

Glo Skin Beauty makeup does not contain talc: Products that contain talc which can have adverse effects. A talc particle is heavier than a mineral pigment and will settle into both pores and wrinkles. Therefore, products containing talc are more likely to accentuate wrinkles and clog pores.

Talc may also exacerbate skin conditions like acne and rosacea: Skin irritation may occur with the use of products containing talc, especially on sensitive skin types.
